the devil and miss prym

The book is brilliantly written and Paulo Coelho is amazing! Once you started reading the book, it grabs your attention till the very end. It’s about a young girl whose conscious is put to test by the devil: to kill any person in her small village and in return, she’ll get fortune for herself which is plenty enough for herself and her generations. Her refusal to the bid incites the devil to challenge the whole village, and the village does choose a victim in lieu of the promised fortune. This novel is absolutely thought inciting and well worth the read. My next book is eleven minutes by the same author.
