second brush with death

the first one was when i was traveling to daharki in my car & a slow moving truck suddenly moved in the fast lane while i was just overtaking it.

the second incident was not with me ... but i was so closely involved & in someway would have been held responsible that it gives me the creep. we were at sandspit in the company beach hut when a huuugggeeee tsunami like wave hit us and carried 2 of us in deep sea. they were VERY luckily saved by some God sent angels (some fisherman getting bored) there.

i'll remember myself running behind them towards the deep sea full of adrenaline pumping in my blood and stopping just halfway realizing i cant go behind them beyond this point - it'll be just suicidle. i'll remember the crazy thoughts coming to my mind in splits of seconds and myself calculating beyond my normal ability all possibilities of saving the situation.

thank Allah Almighty we were saved both the times without anything major - & only we'll know how serious the situations really were.

third encounter

it's getting so ordinary now, even i cant believe myself. same old story. a guy with a gun robs someone off his valuables.

so this time i was returning back home from boat basin pizza hut with my wife&daughter at around 1100 in the night when a guy on bike overtook my car from the wrong direction at a very fast speed. this startled me a bit and naturally my focus went on him who was driving right in front of me.

he went near another biker on the road and while on the road still driving he takes out his gun and points at the poor fellow on the other bike.

i slowed down my car at first. not knowing what to do, but then i thought it's better to call 15 and tell them about the incident. also i thought it would be wise to follow the robber at a safe distance and give the police exact location of where he is so he can be caught for sure.

dissapointingly, the police emergency line was engaged. i kept trying dailing and also chased the robber who was driving his bike still in front of me when on the road i saw a police mobile. i shouted and told the police what happened and the mobile chased the bike and surprisingly caught hold of the robber.

no matter how small this little incident might look like to all the others but it gave me a very strange feeling of happiness from inside!
